The Ravens don't know if Sunday will mark the end of offensive tackle Jonathan Ogden's career, but rumor has it that the 11-time Pro Bowler may retire. "We've all kind of kept that at arm's length," head coach Brian Billick tells the Baltimore Sun. "Jonathan will decide what he wants to do. Certainly, his Pro Bowl selection is an indicator to everybody that he can continue to play probably for as long as he wants to. I don't know that Jonathan's made a definitive decision. I don't know that he's shared that with anybody. So we'll give him the proper respect that he's due to kind of decide what he wants to do going forward."

Jonathan Ogden finally saw some game action Sunday for the first time since hyperextending his toe in the season opener. "It was OK," Ogden said, according to the Baltimore Sun. "It was sore, but not terrible. [I was] happy to be out there. I was a little tired, but that's what happens when you don't play in six weeks. I didn't aggravate it again, so that's the good thing." Ogden didn't start and only took part in about 10 plays, but getting Ogden back for the long haul would give the Ravens offense a big boost.

Jonathan Ogden is the most injured of the Ravens starters, Brian Billick told the Baltimore Sun. Ogden is considered out indefinitely with a nagging toe injury that he re-aggravated Monday. While Ogden is no longer the dominant player he was a few years back, he's still a major loss for the Baltimore offensive line.

Jonathan Ogden left the Ravens' Monday night loss to the Bengals early in the second quarter, still bothered by the turf toe injury he suffered late last season. He returned to the field after half time wearing street clothes and limping, and while the Ravens have made no official announcement the Baltimore Sun speculates that Ogden may need to miss several games while recuperating. In Ogden's absence, the Ravens moved Adam Terry from right to left tackle and inserted rookie Marshal Yanda at right tackle.

Jonathan Ogden left Monday night's game in the first half due to further issues with his big left toe. He missed the entire preseason due to a hyperextended digit. Rookie Marshall Yanda entered the game to replace him.

As expected, Jonathan Ogden was placed on the PUP at the open of camp on Monday. Ogden suffered a toe injury late in the 2006 season and is still working his way back. “We knew last February he would go to PUP and miss three, maybe four weeks of training camp,” head coach Brian Billick tells the team's official web site. “That was the design; we structured it that way. His workouts in the offseason were structured knowing that he would come in here and PUP, and that’s a good thing.”

Tackle Jonathan Ogden will be placed on the PUP list for the start of training camp, but all expectations are that he’ll be ready for the regular season. “It’s probably in our best interest to [sideline] J.O. through the first couple of weeks,” Ravens coach Brian Billick told the Baltimore Sun. “I don’t know if we’ll put a specific time frame on it. There is a smart way to proceed for J.O.—in the overall standpoint and with rehab to the toe—that will probably put him on PUP for an extended period of time. But we’ve known that and anticipated that. If we start training camp in rehab mode, that will probably serve Jonathan very, very well.” Ogden hyperextended his left big toe last December and has skipped all of the Ravens’ offseason workouts while resting and rehabbing the injury. So long as he’s activated from the PUP list by September 1, he won’t have to miss any regular season action.

Jonathan Ogden has stated that there's a "possibility" that he may retire after the season, according to the Baltimore Sun. "I'll take a week to try to let my toe get better and I'll see from there," Ogden said as players packed up their lockers yesterday. "I'll take some time away and re-evaluate some things. That's how it's going to be. I'll see what I want to do next year a little later on."

Although Jonathan Ogden was able to practice Thursday despite his turf-toe injury, he's still considered a game-time decision for Saturday's divisional playoff game with Indianapolis.

Although he didn't take part in a full practice Saturday, Jonathan Ogden was able to work out on his own for the first time in about three weeks, according to the Baltimore Sun. He's recovering from a turf-toe injury. "Worked through it today," Billick said of Ogden. "We didn't want to put him in team drills, but Bill worked him pretty well. So we'll see how he progresses."
