James Thrash was walking around on crutches on Monday and is unlikely to play in Week 11 due to a high left ankle sprain. "We did an MRI on his ankle, his lower leg and his knee, and he looks good. He's just got a bruised knee," director of sports medicine Bubba Tyer tells the Washington Post. "He has a high ankle sprain. On a grade of one to three it's a Grade 1."

James Thrash had nice performance Sunday. Starting in place of an injured Santana Moss, Thrash hauled in five catches for 85 yards and two touchdowns before exiting in the fourth quarter due to a high-ankle sprain. Such injuries typically will sideline a player for several weeks, but more should be known after he's examined further on Monday.

The Redskins passing game might look a little different this Sunday. If Santana Moss (groin) is out, James Thrash will start alongside Antwaan Randle El. If Brandon Lloyd (shin) is out, the team may activate Reche Caldwell and Keenan McCardell, the Washington Post reports.

The Redskins reworked James Thrash's contract last week in an effort to create some cap space, according to the Washington Post. Thrash was supposed to make $1.3 million in 2007, but some of the salary was converted into a bonus, and he was also given a two-year extension as part of the deal. Thrash caught 12 balls for 151 yards and a TD in 2006.
