Michael Pittman returned to the field in a limited role on Thursday, but he remains questionable for Sunday's game with a shoulder injury, according to the Tampa Tribune.

An MRI exam on the neck and spine of Michael Pittman indicated that he won't need surgery, but he expects to play with pain the rest of the season, according to the St. Petersburg Times. A pinched nerve has caused a shoulder stinger and numbness in the fingers of Pittman's left hand. He is questionable for Sunday's game against Carolina.

Michael Pittman underwent an MRI yesterday on his sore shoulder, according to the St. Petersburg Times. He indicated he would be able to play Sunday after aggravating the injury last week. He is listed as questionable, and the MRI results weren't immediately known.

Michael Pittman rushed for 127 yards and a touchdown on just 15 carries on Sunday. Pittman started the game in place of Carnell Williams but shared the rushing load with Earnest Graham.

Michael Pittman practiced all week, but he complained of having a sore shoulder on Saturday, according to the St. Petersburg Times. The Bucs placed him on their injury report as questionable. If Pittman and starter Cadillac Williams - also questionable - can't go today, Earnest Graham would get the start at running back.

Michael Pittman saw a lot of action for the Buccaneers in Week 4 with Carnell Williams nursing foot and hamstring injuries. Pittman had five carries for 30 yards and caught six passes for 96 yards and a touchdown.
