Starting in place of the injured Cadillac Williams Sunday, Michael Pittman rushed 16 times for 86 yards and a touchdown against the Browns. He also caught four passes for 21 yards. It's not clear yet whether Caddy will return for the Buc's finale against the Seahawks next week.

Michael Pittman didn't practice Thursday due to his sore shoulder and is listed as questionable, the Tampa Tribune reports. Pittman at least gets an extra day to rest, as the Bucs play Monday at Carolina.

Coach Jon Gruden said that Michael Pittman suffered a shoulder stinger late in Sunday's loss to New Orleans, and that the running back is questionable for Week 10, according to the Tampa Tribune. "I don’t know his status other than we are concerned about it," Gruden said.

Michael Pittman has agreed to rework his contract with the Bucs to free up some salary cap space, according to the Tampa Tribune. He agreed to a three-year extension that lowered his cap cost for the 2006 season from $2.12 million to $1.4 million.
