Joe Jurevicius, who underwent three knee surgeries over the last seven months, is likely to begin the 2008 season on the PUP list, according to ESPN. GM Phil Savage said, "It's been pretty frustrating for everybody because this started as an innocent knee scope back in January, and it's morphed itself into multiple procedures So it's a bit up in the air right now. He's going to be looked at again obviously next week before we get started and probably will start on that PUP list."

Joe Jurevicius has had four operations on his right knee this year, but he fully intends to play for the Browns this season, according to the Cleveland Plain Dealer. The paper reports he will start training camp on the physically unable to return list.

The Akron Beacon Journal is reporting that wide out Joe Jurevicius' health is in question. The team was cryptic in its latest report about J.J's availability for training camp after the latest procedure on his knee. Rumors are flying that Jurevicius might need the dreaded microfracture surgery.

Joe Jurevicius underwent another surgery on his knee, according to the AP. It was his second knee surgery since January, and may prevent him from participating in training camp on time. Jurevicius experienced swelling and discomfort in his knee related to his first procedure, and the team said in a statement released Tuesday that he had a further "clean out" on Monday to help him recover.

Wide receiver Joe Jurevicius admits he told the Browns to find a new starting wideout this offseason. The former No. 2 option has undergone three knee surgeries since the end of the 2007 campaign, and he asked general manager Phil Savage for a demotion. "I don't want it to sound like that was a negative thing," Jurevicius tells the Akron Beacon Journal. "I've shown throughout my career that I'm comfortable being a No. 3 or a No. 2 or being able to back up a 1 or a 2. I did it for the simple fact that I think it helps this football team. Donte Stallworth is a guy who's going to help this football team win."
