Randy Moss was listed under the "Limited Participation in Practice" heading on the Patriots Thursday injury report. The reason give was "team decision." Moss is probably still not 100 percent recovered from the hamstring injury that kept him out most of training camp, so it shouldn't come as a surprise if he sits out a practice or two during the week until he is fully healthy. He's expected to play on Sunday night.

Randy Moss looked like a superstar in his Patriots' debut on Sunday. He caught nine passes for 183 yards, including a 51- yard bomb from Tom Brady that he took for a score. It's scary to think that Moss actually didn't look 100 percent after missing the entire preseason with a hamstring injury. Yes, the Pats spread the ball around. But Moss was brought in to make monster plays, so if he stays healthy, he'll have big games all the time.

Randy Moss still wasn't on the Patriots' injury report Friday. He missed the whole preseason due to a hamstring injury, but right now all signs point to him playing in the opener. That said, you can never tell what coach Bill Belichick will pull when it comes to ailing players, so you'll want to check back for updates as the game approaches.

Patriots wideout Randy Moss was not on the team's Wednesday injury report. He had been battling an injured hamstring in recent weeks, but looks good to go right now. That being said, we'll be keeping a close eye on Friday's injury report to make sure Bill Belichick doesn't make him a last-minute addition.

Patriots wide receiver Randy Moss returned to practice Monday after spending much of the past month on the sideline while dealing with a hamstring injury. However, head coach Bill Belichick stopped short of saying that Moss would be ready for Sunday's season opener against the Jets. "We'll see where he is and evaluate it on a day-to-day basis and move forward," Belichick told the Associated Press Monday.

According to the Boston Globe, Moss jogged off the field after an incomplete pass on a long pass pattern and later walked into the locker room under his own power. Moss hasn't exactly been the picture of perfect health over the past several seasons, so we'll keep a close eye on this situation.

Tom Brady had nothing but praise for Randy Moss after the first day of Patriots minicamp. "I've been excited to have him around. He's worked extremely hard, he's in the weight room every day, he's been here working out, he's taken a trip with us to New Orleans, he's been at the golf tournament yesterday," Brady told the Boston Herald.

Randy Moss agreed to restructure and/or extend his contract to consummate his trade to New England over the weekend, the Boston Globe reports. He was due base salaries of $9.25 million in 2007 and $11.25 million in 2008; the contract he agreed to with the Patriots reduced his pay for 2007 to $3 million. "I think over the course of my career, I've made a lot of money," said Moss. "I still have money in the bank. By me coming to an organization such as the New England Patriots, why would money be a factor?" The Patriots were able to land Moss fairly cheap, given that he cost just a fourth-round pick to begin with.
