Torry Holt predicts a solid campaign with the Jaguars in 2009, according to the Florida Times-Union. Holt said, "I think 1,000 yards, however many touchdowns and a Pro Bowl is still in the picture for me. That is the way I have always thought, that is the way I train. That is the way I prepare, and I do not expect anything less here in Jacksonville."

Torry Holt wanted to finish his career with the Rams, but is looking forward to playing with the Jaguars, according to the St. Louis Post-Dispatch. Holt said, "The Rams wanted to go in another direction. And I wanted to go in another direction. And here we are. I was actually glad to have gotten it over with. And I was glad for them to actually come to grips with it and get it over with, so they could move on as an organization and I could move on as a ballplayer."

ESPN.com reports that Torry Holt feels that he can still be a difference maker in his 11th season. Holt says that it was a lack of chemistry and not his surgically repaired knee that led to a dip in production last season. The receiver also said that he is a much craftier player now than he was when he was going to Super Bowls.
