Torry Holt plans to play today despite his sore knee, according to the St. Louis Post-Dispatch. Holt said that he would have the knee checked out ater the season. "I'll take a look at it, and see what the damage is," Holt said. "See if there's any further damage, and I'll go from there.

Rams coach Scott Linehan said he held Torry Holt out of yesterday's practice as a precaution, so the receiver could rest his sore left knee, according to the St. Louis Post-Dispatch. "He's fine; it's absolutely nothing," Linehan said. "He'll work more tomorrow and Friday."

Torry Holt had six catches for 75 yards and two touchdowns in Monday's loss to the Bears. Holt's day easily could have been a lot better, as he had a few drops on the night, but it's hard to quibble with solid production like this.

Torry Holt caught eight passes for 154 yards and three touchdowns against the Seahakws on Sunday. Holt now has seven touchdowns and 526 yards through six games, and he has been by far the best fantasy receiver in the NFL so far this season.

Torry Holt had an MRI on Monday that showed nothing more than a bruise to his sternum, according to the St. Louis Post-Dispatch. Holt was back practicing Monday and could play in Thursday's preseason finale.

Torry Holt is slated to undergo an MRI of his bruised sternum today, according to the St. Louis Post-Dispatch. He missed practice last week and Saturday's preseason game due to the injury, which coach Scott Linehan downplayed. "(The MRI is) precautionary ... just for peace of mind more than anything," he said. "There's no reason other than to make sure there's nothing else in there."

Torry Holt got the wind knocked out of him and sustained a bruised sternum while making a catch in yesterday's exhibition game, according to the St. Louis Post-Dispatch. X-rays were negative, though no further information about the injury was made available.
