Jim Kleinsasser has restructured his contract, taking a $1 million reduction in salary for next season and a $500,000 reduction for the following year, according to the Star Tribune. The team signed Visanthe Shiancoe to be their No. 1 tight end, which would've made Kleinsasser expendable had he not restructured his deal.
