The St. Louis Post-Dispatch reports that Dante Hall is looking quick and fast again after an ankle injury spoiled his 2007 campaign with the Rams.

Dante Hall didn't take part in Thursday's OTA due to a strained groin, this according to the St. Louis Post Dispatch.

Dante Hall (ankle) will not play again this year, the AP reports. "His ankle is not responding," head coach Scott Linehan said. "He still has swelling and is unable to cut on it."

Kick and punt return specialist Dante Hall is expected to miss Sundays game against the Ravens with an ankle injury. Hall returned a kickoff for a touchdown against the Cowboys two weeks ago.

The Rams acquired return man Dante Hall from the Chiefs Wednesday in exchange for a fifth-round draft pick, according to Sports Network. Hall was rather mediocre in the return game last year, averaging 22.8 yards per kickoff return and 8.9 yards per punt return (with one punt return for a TD), but he has 11 career return TDs in his eight-year career. He also caught 26 passes and two TDs last year as a receiver. "We have filled a need with one of the top players in football at his specialty, returning punts and kicks," said coach Scott Linehan. "Dante will fit in nicely on our special teams and can be utilized as a receiver in certain situations."
