An NFL spokesman said "no disciplinary action is contemplated" against Najeh Davenport, according to the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette. He was found not guilty on three counts in a Cleveland courtroom Wednesday. A jury acquitted him on charges of domestic violence, child endangering and unlawful restraint stemming from an incident last fall. He has likely beaten a suspension, as long as he stays out of trouble.

Najeh Davenport rushed for just 25 yards on 16 carries in Saturday's loss to Jacksonville, though he did have a couple of short touchdown runs. Needless to say the Steelers missed Willie Parker on this night, albeit they scored 29 points without him.
