Updating a previous report, former Denver Broncos running back Travis Henry tested positive for marijuana use just prior to being released by the team last month, according to MyFoxColorado.com. The Broncos declined to comment on whether Henry’s release was related to the drug test.

Running back Travis Henry is not getting a lot of love on the free agent market, according to Adam Schefter of NFL.com. With a strict discipline policy in place, Henry is seen as too big a risk to rely on.

Travis Henry has been released by the Broncos, according to the AP. Coach Mike Shanahan said, "We did not feel his commitment to the Broncos was enough to warrant a spot on this football team. Although Travis has the ability to be one of the top running backs in the NFL, we have to make decisions that are in the best interests of our organization and its goal of winning a Super Bowl."
