LaDainian Tomlinson sat out of the entire second half of Sunday's game after feeling a twinge in his hamstring following a 49-yard second-quarter run. "If I had to go back in," Tomlinson said, according to the San Diego Union-Tribune. "it wasn't a problem." It doesn't sound like anything serious, but it's worth keeping an eye on. LT2 already had topped the 100-yard mark and scored two touchdowns, so his fantasy owners should still be happy. Backup Michael Turner injured his shoulder, so Darren Sproles filled in for Tomlinson in the second half.

The Chargers and Texans both believe their game scheduled for this Sunday in San Diego will be moved to Monday night. Texans head coach Gary Kubiak tells the San Diego Union-Tribune, "The indications to us were that we're going to play on Monday night in San Diego. That's the last thing I've been told.” The NFL has not issued an official word yet.

The Chargers and Texans continue to be unsure of where they will play this weekend, but it's looking more and more like the contest will take place at Qualcomm Stadium. "It's hard to put a time on it," stadium manager Erik Stover tells the North County Times. "Donations still need to be cleaned up and taken to the appropriate places. But most of the event preparations we do at the stadium is standard operating procedure. We are used to quick turnarounds. We have been in constant communication with the city, the NFL and the Chargers over the last two days. The decision is in the mayor's hands right now." Arizona, Houston and Dallas are alternate venue options.

Forty members of the San Diego Chargers organization including LaDainian Tomlinson were forced to evacuate their homes in San Diego County as wildfires burned out of control in the area. The Chargers had just returned from their bye week break, and were forced to cancel practice on Monday, and move practice for the remainder of the week to the Cardinals training facility in Arizona.

LaDainian Tomlinson looked like the LT of 2006 on Sunday against the Raiders, rushing for 199 yards and four scores on 24 carries (8.3 YPC). He also added three catches for 18 yards. It was just Tomlinson's second 100-yard game of the season. Interestingly enough, LT didn't record his second 100-yard game of last season until Week 8, and he has the same number of total TDs now (7) as he did at this time last year.

LaDainian Tomlinson was held out of Saturday's game with the Rams, as usual. The Chargers generally do not use Tomlinson much, if at all, in the preseason.

Chargers head coach Norv Turner wants to use LaDainian Tomlinson more often in the passing game. “When you have a guy that is that dangerous in space, you have to find ways to get him the ball out there,” Turner tells the team's official web site. “LT is such a good route runner and is so good at catching the football that we’re going to really use him as much as we can in that area.” The head coach has specifically designed some plays where Tomlinson and Antonio Gates run routes to the same side of the field and attack the defense together.

The father of LaDainian Tomlinson was killed Friday when the pickup truck in which he was riding blew a tire and flipped on a highway, the AP reports. The driver of the car, Ronald C. McClain, is also believed to be a relative of Tomlinson.

LaDainian Tomlinson has more or less backed away from the critical comments he made about Bill Belichick after their playoff game three weeks ago, the Boston Globe reports. Tomlinson had initially critiqued some of New England's post-game celebrations, and said it was a reflection on Belichick.
