Chad Johnson commented that he intends to kiss the Dallas star at midfield when he scores a touchdown this weekend against the Cowboys, according to the Dallas Morning News. He said, "I've got so much respect for y'all, if I score Sunday, I love Dallas so much, I'm going to take my helmet off, get a fine and kiss the star. when I score, I'm going to take my helmet off and kiss the star. Can I do that? Why not? That's not a sign of disrespect. That's a good thing isn't it?"

Chad Johnson has been awful this season (eight receptions for 88 yards), but his coach believes he is finally healthy and ready to rock, according to the Bengals Official Website. "Every day he's stronger and better..." HC Marvin Lewis said.

Chad Johnson promises to break out in the coming weeks according to the AP. Cincinnati has a favorable matchup at home against Cleveland this weekend. "I've had a season like this before - I believe it was '06, a similar slow start like this. But once I break out, I really break out. So I'm being patient, just doing what I can, and when the opportunities come, I make the most of them."

Chad Johnson (Ocho Cinco) blames the offensive line for the Bengals' struggles on offense over the first two weeks of the season, according to the AP. The Pro Bowl receiver said, "Before you name the receivers, before you even name the quarterback, it all starts with that offensive line. It don’t start with us at all. I think it starts with the offensive line. It’s going to have a trickle effect. When they’re playing well, Carson’s going to play well, and it means us on the outside, we’re going to play well. Because if it doesn’t start with them, the rest of us really don’t matter."
