Chad Johnson said after Sunday's game that he suffered a mild concussion against the Browns. However, according to the Cincinnati Post, coach Marvin Lewis said that Johnson would not have continued to play if he had a concussion. Lewis suggested that Johnson was trying to sound tough. "It's fun and cool to be injured like the other guys every once in a while." said Lewis.

The Cincinnati Post reports that Chad Johnson returned to practice yesterday. He is nursing a bruised knee that's left him listed as probable for Sunday.

Bengals coach Marvin Lewis said that the club will throw deep more often this season with Carson Palmer at quarterback, according to the Cincinnati Enquirer. Chad Johnson should enjoy that, as he gets deep as well as just about any receiver in the league.
