The Atlanta Journal-Constitution that Alge Crumpler hurt his arm on Sunday night but will be able to play this weekend agains the Bucs.

Alge Crumpler had his left knee drained Wednesday, according to the Atlanta Journal Constitution. Crumpler has been bothered with knee discomfort since the Falcons' exhibition opener in Japan, and the team felt he should have the procedure now, so he could practice before the season opener.

Alge Crumpler, who did not play in Tokyo on Saturday because of a knee injury, was back at practice on Tuesday, according to the Atlanta Journal Constitution. "[Crumpler's] knee swelled up a little bit over there," coach Jim Mora said. "That turf was a little bit hard, and with the long flight . . . with he and Justin (Griffith) we just decided not to play them."

Alge Crumpler returned to practice for the first time since injuring his knee Dec. 18 but is considered the least likely of the five Falcons players listed as questionable to play on Sunday, according to the Atlanta Journal-Consitution.
