"The combination of the knee and the ankle put some stress on his old knee injury so it's really [needed] rest," head coach Bobby Petrino said in his press conference. "Hopefully, he'll come back from the bye week ready for the San Francisco game like he did when he took the rest in preseason camp, feeling refreshed and faster. That's what we're hoping for."
