The Eagles re-signed Correll Buckhalter to a two-year contract on Wednesday, according to the Sports Network. "Buck worked extremely hard to get on the field in 2006 and did a solid job for us," general manager Tom Heckert said. "He's a tough kid both mentally and physically and is a proven performer at running back when he's been healthy. He's a real good compliment to Brian Westbrook in our offensive scheme." Buckhalter ran for 345 yards and two touchdowns on 83 carries last year after missing three of the prior four seasons because of knee injuries.
