Correll Buckhalter sat out Friday's practice due to "flu-like symptoms" and was added to the injury report as probable, the Eagles official site reports. Head coach Andy Reid is holding out hope that his reserve running back will be rested and recovered in time for Sunday's game against Tennessee.

Correll Buckhalter admitted he was a little uptight when he found out a half-hour before Monday's game that he'd be starting, the Philadelphia Inquirer reports. "It was a situation where I felt like I was trying to do too much," Buckhalter said Thursday. "I wasn't letting the game come to me. Finding out that Westbrook wasn't playing 30 minutes before the game, my mind-set was completely different than usual. I felt like all the pressure was on me." Buckhalter has vowed to be better prepared this week if Westbrook is forced to sit again.

"Whether I'm playing for five plays or 15 or 20, when I'm in there, I'm going to give it my all," Buckhalter said. "I'm going to make sure there's no mishaps on my part... I feel I can do anything that they give me, and whatever they give me, I'm going to make the best of it." Buckhalter beat out Ryan Moats for the No. 2 job.
