Adam Archuleta signed a six-year contract with the Redskins on Monday. He was so impressed with his visit to the team on Sunday that he canceled a scheduled visit with the Bears.

New Rams defensive coordinator Jim Haslett wants the team to re-sign safety Adam Archuleta, even though Archuleta struggled mightily last season, according to the St. Louis Post-Dispatch. "I think he does a lot of good things," Haslett said. "The guy's probably one of the best blitzers I've seen in a long time. He's got great speed. He can play in the box. ... He's better than I thought playing in the back end."
