The Eagles signed A.J. Feeley to a two-year contract on Wednesday in order to get some depth at the quarterback position. Feeley, who had been released by the Chargers on Tuesday, will come in at No. 3 on the depth chart behind Donovan McNabb and Jeff Garcia.

The Vikings could be interested in bringing in A.J. Feeley to be their backup QB, according to the Minneapolis Star-Tribune. Feeley, who was released by the Chargers yesterday, knows coach Brad Childress' West Coast system very well, having played in it in Philadelphia when Childress was the Eagles offensive coordinator.

The Chargers released A.J. Feeley on Monday, leaving rookie Charlie Whitehurst as Philip Rivers' backup, according to the San Diego Union-Tribune. "This is more about Charlie Whitehurst than Feeley," General Manager A.J. Smith said. "Charlie has had a solid camp, and we're very pleased with his development."
