Antwaan Randle El once again was held out of practice on Friday due to his hamstring injury. Although the receiver was adamant that he'd be able to play Sunday, coach Joe Gibbs said Randle El will be a game-time decision, according to the Washington Post. "I think [Randle El] is a great competitor and the closer it gets to game time he's wanting to go," Gibbs said. "He'll probably be one we'll warm up on Sunday and see how it goes." We should know about an hour before the game whether Randle El is active.

"Hopefully there's a miracle there and some way he can get healed up," head coach Joe Gibbs tells the team's official web site. Randle El took a different stance, saying, "I expect to play, but like they say, I'm questionable at this point." James Thrash would likely start if Randle El were out.

Antwaan Randle El was having a huge day before a hamstring injury knocked him out just before halftime. With Santana Moss out with an injury of his own, Randle El torched the Lions for 100 yards on seven catches before leaving. The Redskins signed Keenan McCardell, who caught two passes for 39 yards Sunday, this week, and he should figure into the mix if Moss and Randle El miss more action.
