Tom Brady sung the praises of Donte Stallworth on Tuesday. "I thought Donte played his best game so far as a Patriot," Brady told the Boston Globe of Stallworth's four-catch, 49-yard effort. Stallworth had a grand total of four catches and 66 yards in the first three games combined.
October 2, 2007
Donte Stallworth had four catches for 49 yards in Monday's victory at Cincinnati. Not a giant game by any means, but it's progress for Stallworth, who had just four receptions entering the night.
September 28, 2007
Donte Stallworth was listed as a limited participant in practice on the Patriots Thursday injury report. He is battling a knee issue.
September 23, 2007
Donte Stallworth is listed as active for Sunday's game against the Bills. He was a surprise addition to the injury report late this week with an apparent knee injury. That injury will not keep him out of action on Sunday, but the fact that he's been rendered nothing more than an afterthought in the Patriots offense should keep him out of your fantasy lineup.

Donte Stallworth was on the field for only nine plays in Week 1, but he participated in 39 snaps during Week 2's win over the Chargers, according to the Boston Globe. Stallworth caught only two balls for 19 yards in Week 2, but it's an encouraging sign that he's at least getting on the field in more two-receiver sets for the Patriots.
August 17, 2007
Donte Stallworth started Friday's game at flanker and had one catch for 15 yards.
August 6, 2007
Donte Stallworth was removed from the PUP list and took the field for the first time on Sunday. Stallworth, in fact, isn't even sure why he was placed on the PUP list in the first place. "I actually didn't even know I was on it until somebody from home called me," he told the Boston Globe. "It's just what the coaches wanted to do, but everything is going well."

The Patriots pulled off another big offseason move by coming to terms on a deal with free agent Donte Stallworth, according to ESPN.com. The contract could run anywhere from one to six seasons. He'll make about $3.6 million this coming season, but a $6 million roster bonus and as much as $5 million more in other bonuses next offseason will make it costly to the Pats to keep him for the 2008 campaign and beyond.
March 8, 2007
Donte Stallworth visited the Titans yesterday and is scheduled to visit the Dolphins today, according to the Philadelphia Inquirer. Stallworth caught 38 passes for 725 yards and 5 TDs last season while being limited by a hamstring problem.
March 6, 2007
With the Patriots' trade for Wes Welker, the 49ers' signing of Ashley Lelie, and the Dolphins possibly unwilling to guarantee a boatload of up-front money, it is looking more likely than it was before that Donte Stallworth could return to the Eagles, according to the Philadelphia Inquirer. Stallworth has listed the aforementioned teams as his possible landing spots. The free agent is expected to meet with New England and Miami this week.
March 5, 2007
The Philadelphia Inquirer reports that Donte Stallworth is in the NFL's substance-abuse program, which means he could face a suspension if he violates the terms of the program again, according to the Philadelphia Inquirer. It's not clear why he's in the program, but obviously this isn't going to be a positive for a guy who is an unrestricted free agent.
February 1, 2007
Donte Stallworth, who is set to be an unrestricted free agent, has said that he'd like to return to Philadelphia, according to the Philadelphia Inquirer. "I think they've talked a little bit to Drew [Rosenhaus]," Stallworth said. "I'm sure there are going to be teams that offer me more, but in my case, it's not going to be all about the money. I want to make sure I'm in a place that has a chance to win a Super Bowl year in and year out, and everything was perfect for me in Philadelphia. I've been loving it ever since I've been there... and I definitely plan on being there." That said, Stallworth also stated that he'll still listen to offers from other teams once free agency begins.
January 26, 2007
Donte Stallworth will probably have decent value in a lean free-agent market for wide receivers, the Philadelphia Inquirer reports. Given the way the Eagles play cap ball, it's plausible that the team will let him walk in the off season.
