Raiders head coach Lane Kiffin tells the Oakland Tribune that quarterback Josh McCown and JaMarcus Russell will split time in Week 16. One passer will start the game and the other will finish it. "There's something to be said for not going back and forth," Kiffin says. "You saw last week the momentum swing of going with one, and then going back. So, we're just looking into the possibility."

The one thing we know for sure is that rookie JaMarcus Russell will not get the start at quarterback for the Oakland Raiders this Sunday when they face off against the Denver Broncos. On Friday Josh McCown took the majority of the snaps with the first team offense even thought he has two dislocated joints in his non-throwing hand. Daunte Culpepper is questionable for Sunday as he nurses a sore quadriceps muscle. If Culpepper is unable to go, it will be McCown getting the nod on Sunday, but it will most likely be a game-time decision.

These things are kind of awkward, just kind of hard to tell. You never know how bad they're going to feel until the next day." Like he said, his availability for Week 11 won't be known until he's examined further on Monday.
