Wide receiver Ronald Curry credits new strength and conditioning coach Brad Roll with improving his physique. "I never took the weight room too seriously. I would do just enough," Curry tells the Sacramento Bee. "Coach Roll was really a blessing for me. He got me on my own little plan as far as upper body, lower body, and it's really helped me out. I can feel the difference in my legs, and when I go to block somebody, just me grabbing somebody, I can feel how much stronger I got." Curry plans to play this season at around 200 pounds, which is 10 pounds below his listed weight.

Ronald Curry, who is back from surgery to remove a bone spur which he said hampered him all last season, returned to practice and is reportedly in great shape, according to the Contra Costa Times. He is also pain-free and said, "I had the bone spur, played pretty much the whole season, had it since the beginning of March. Pretty much every time I planted, it hurt. But I have no discomfort in running, and the foot feels great." He caught several passes in traffic and was notably making sharp cuts.

Ronald Curry, recovering from foot surgery, returned to practice on Thursday, according to NFL.com. "Regardless of who was here, I felt like I always been productive, whatever they ask me to do. And it's not going to change this year ...," Curry said. "You know, Javon [Walker], he's going to be the guy, and I'm just going to be out there making the plays when they go to me."
