Ronald Curry sustained a torn left Achilles tendon against the Chiefs on Sunday and is likely out for the rest of the season, according to the Contra Costa Times. No surgery has been set yet for the injury.

Ronald Curry, who suffered a calf injury on Sunday, will miss at least this week's game against Philadelphia and possibly more, according to the AP. Curry had the same type of injury last year. "It's not in the same spot as before," Raiders coach Norv Turner said Monday. "They don't know if it's torn, if it's a sprain or strain, or whatever that is."

Ronald Curry is not expected to take part in the first two preseason games, but his recovery from a torn Achilles tendon is going well, according to the Contra Costa Times. "He's on schedule," coach Norv Turner said. "We went from going every other morning to going every afternoon this week. The first day, he went the whole afternoon practice, which is a longer, harder practice. He realizes his conditioning isn't where he wants it to be. But he hasn't had any problems with his Achilles'. And he's getting back into it."
