Craig Nall was signed this week with by the Houston Texans to be the backup to Sage Rosenfels, and he has performed well in practice, according to the Houston Chronicle.

Craig Nall has signed with the Texans, according to the Houston Chronicle. Terms of the deal were not disclosed. N.D. Kalu was released to make room on the roster.

The Texans signed veteran quarterback Craig Nall to back up Sage Rosenfels this week. Starter Matt Schaub is not expected to play because of a concussion suffered last week. [The offense] is pretty familiar after being with [Texans assistant Mike Sherman] for four years in Green Bay, Nall told the Houston Chronicle. It doesnt seem much different, especially in the passing game. Overall as a system, I hope I can pick it up very quick, and Im confident I will.

The Bills re-signed quarterback Craig Nall on Monday, three weeks after releasing him at the end of the preseason. According to the Rochester Democrat & Chronicle, Nall was given a one-year deal and will serve as the backup to rookie Trent Edwards until J.P. Losman recovers from his sprained MCL.
