Veteran free safety Ryan Clark is expected to return to full health after having his spleen removed during the middle of last season, and should easily reclaim his starting position, according to the Sporting News. Clark plays the position with more patience than Anthony Smith and even though he is an aggressive hitter, rarely lets a player get behind him in deep coverage. Smith was sorely missed in the SteelersÂ’ defensive backfield last season.
