Joel Segal, the agent for free-agent wide receiver Bryant Johnson, said last night that he’s in negotiations with three teams, and anticipates having a deal done by the weekend, according to FOX Sports. Bryant Johnson , the Cardinals No. 3 receiver, is "unlikely" to return to the club, according to the East Valley Tribune. Joel Segal, Johnson's agent, said he is negotiating with three teams and indicated he hopes to have a deal done by Friday. Steve Breaston, a kick returner and reserve receiver last season, could be a candidate for the Cardinals' next No. 3 receiver behind Fitzgerald and Anquan Boldin.

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers still have a shot at landing free agent wide receivers Bryant Johnson and Drew Carter, according to the Tampa Tribune. "We're going to take the next couple days and go over the offers we have and take it from there," said Joel Segal, the agent for Johnson and Carter, both of whom are considering Tampa Bay as a destination. The Buccaneers recently signed Antonio Bryant, but there are question marks surrounding him after sitting out an entire season last year. Johnson has competed in the shadow of Larry Fitzgerald and Anquan Boldin in Arizona, while Carter has been a career underachiever, who has the ability to stretch defenses with his speed.
