Wide receiver Kevin Curtis is not participating in this weekend's mini-camp because he underwent further groin surgery on April 15. He missed seven games in 2008 due to a sports hernia operation. "As I started rehabbing, I started having groin issues," Curtis tells the Philadelphia Daily News. "I didn't want to report back still having some issues with this." Last year's operation was a less-than-complete procedure, so Curtis needed this second surgery.

Kevin Curtis caught four passes for 122 yards in the NFC Championship game but it was the pass that he didn't catch that will likely stick with him. Curtis dropped a pass on fourth down late in the fourth quarter on a play that he appeared to be interfered on, and as a result the Eagles lost their last, best chance to come back against the Cardinals.
