Wide receiver Kevin Curtis is not participating in this weekend's mini-camp because he underwent further groin surgery on April 15. He missed seven games in 2008 due to a sports hernia operation. "As I started rehabbing, I started having groin issues," Curtis tells the Philadelphia Daily News. "I didn't want to report back still having some issues with this." Last year's operation was a less-than-complete procedure, so Curtis needed this second surgery.

Curtis dropped a pass on fourth down late in the fourth quarter on a play that he appeared to be interfered on, and as a result the Eagles lost their last, best chance to come back against the Cardinals.
