The Bucs signed B.J. Askew on Sunday, according to the AP. He'll compete with Mike Alstott for playing time. Askew was used primarily as a lead blocker in his four years with the Jets.

B.J. Askew was limited in practice Thursday, though he's expected to play Sunday against the Packers, the New York Daily News reports. Askew is dealing with a foot injury.
