The Patriots agreed to a contract with at least one wide receiver on Monday. Sam Aiken, formerly of the Bills, has consented to an undisclosed deal, the Boston Globe reports.

Sam Aiken had to leave practice after suffering an apparent leg injury during practice on Tuesday, according to the Buffalo News.

Sam Aiken has carved out a solid career as a special teams player, but he aims to make more of an impact in the Bills passing game this year. Aiken, enjoying a good training camp thus far, caught two touchdown passes during Wednesday night's practice. "This is the year I want to make my mark on offense," Aiken told the Rochester Democrat & Chronicle. Aiken is currently fifth in the wide receiver pecking order in Buffalo.
