Titans O.C. Mike Heimerdinger admits he's still figuring out what he has for receivers. He is four months and five practices into his second tenure with the franchise. "I told the guys from the beginning: I don't care what you've done in the past. If you make plays then you have a chance to be on board," Heimerdinger tells the Tennessean. "So right now I'd rank them all in a giant wad." Justin Gage and Justin McCareins have been lining up with the first-string offense.

Justin Gage signed a 4-year, $14 million contract to remain with the Titans, this according to Tennessean.com. “This is where I wanted to be, especially after getting that opportunity to play last year and seeing the youth of the team and the guys we have,’’ said Gage. Gage led the team with 55 receptions and 750 yards last season in his most prolific year to date. Gage also turned 81.8% of his receptions into first-downs, the third highest mark amongst all wide receivers who caught at least 32 balls.

The Titans agreed to terms with Justin Gage on Friday, according to the AP. "Justin is a big, physical and athletic receiver, who has a good deal of playing experience with the Bears," Titans general manager Mike Reinfeldt said in a statement. "He gives us a different body-type and he will compete for a role within our receiving corps." Gage will try to fill the void in the receiving corps left by the departed Drew Bennett and Bobby Wade.
