Arnaz Battle is among the top three receivers for the 49ers during practice, according to the Sacramento Bee. Isaac Bruce (formerly of the Rams) and Bryant Johnson (formerly of the Cardinals) round out the trio. Ashley Lelie is being featured in four receiver sets.

Arnaz Battle (ankle) had a limited practice on Thursday and is no sure thing to play against the Buccaneers. He's had a respectable year for the Niners, rolling up 47-581-5 numbers through 14 games, but most fantasy owners in the playoffs should have better receiving options.

49ers wideout Arnaz Battle is active, but the Dan Francisco Chronicle is reporting he will not play. He suffered an ankle injury last Sunday. Battle owners should not be using him this week. The fact he is active indicates he may see some snaps, but this is situation is too up in the air to risk a starting spot on him.

49ers receiver Arnaz Battle suffered a sprained ankle in Week 13s game with the Panthers and head coach Mike Nolan classified him to the San Francisco Chronicle as questionable for this Sunday. Losing Battle would be a big blow to the anemic 49ers offense, but it could result in more looks for tight end Vernon Davis.
