Donald Strickland's status for Week 4 remains unknown due to his sprained knee, according to the SF Chronicle.

Donald Strickland, a reserve defensive back for the San Francisco 49ers, was arrested earlier this month in downtown San Jose after allegedly running away from police who were trying to arrest him for being drunk in public, according to the San Jose Mercury News. Strickland, 27, was booked April 13 on suspicion of public intoxication and resisting arrest, both misdemeanors.

The San Francisco 49ers maintained their cornerback depth by reaching a one-year, $800,000 deal with Donald Strickland, according to ESPN. The 27-year-old Strickland, a former third-round choice of the Colts, will be entering his third season with the 49ers. He started seven games over the past two years in San Francisco.
