"It was difficult to grip the football and pull down as hard as you want consistently," Romo said "It's something you have to go though. I tried to manage the game well. It will be fine." It appears far more likely that the injury might affect his passing precision than his ability to face the Packers on Thursday evening.

Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo injured the pinky finger on his right hand during the Thanksgiving win, but he doesn’t think the injury is of much concern. "Nah, it's all right. It's good," he told the Fort Worth Star-Telegram after the game. The paper reports Romo has some trouble squeezing the ball after the injury and his yardage total on Thursday was his second lowest number of the season. However, with a week of treatment coming up, it doesn’t seem like this will be a big issue.

Tony Romo wound up being the goat in Saturday's playoff loss at Seattle, as his bobbled snap cost the Cowboys a chip-shot field goal that likely would have won the game with about a minute left in the fourth period. Romo's passing for the night was ordinary: 18-for-29 for 189 yards and a touchdown, less than you'd expect given all the injuries in the Seattle secondary. To Romo's credit, he was a stand-up guy after the bizarre defeat. "I take responsibility for messing up at the end there," Romo to the AP. "That's my fault. I cost the Dallas Cowboys a playoff win, and it's going to sit with me a long time."
