Vinny Ciurciu will get the start at middle linebacker for the Minnesota Vikings, according to ESPN.com.

NFL.com reports that linebacker and special teams ace Vinny Ciurciu suffered an apparent knee injury on kick coverage during the third quarter against the Panthers. Trainers checked Ciurciu’s right knee as he was down on the field. He was able to limp off the field under his own power. Coach Brad Childress said Ciurciu was scheduled for an MRI exam on Monday.
