Kellen Winslow Jr returned to practice on Thursday after missing Wednesday to rest his knee, according to the Browns website. This is a typical week for Winslow, and he should be ready to play Sunday.

Kellen Winslow Jr practiced for the second straight day Friday and is now listed as probable on the injury report, according to the Browns official site. No big surprise here, this is how the team has played it with Winslow basically every week. He'll start Sunday against the Chiefs.

Kellen Winslow Jr was upgraded to probable Friday and should be ready for a full workload against the Bengals. He's been playing through a sore knee for several weeks. The Bengals have had trouble with their safeties all year, so on paper this looks like a very attractive matchup for Winslow.

Kellen Winslow Jr said he will undergo arthroscopic surgery during the offseason to remove scar tissue from his right knee, according to the Cleveland Plain Dealer. "I have to, man. I'm hurting," he said. He's been limited in practice this season due to soreness in the joint but has continued to play through the pain.

Kellen Winslow Jr practiced Thursday and should be good to start and take a full load at San Diego Sunday. He's battling a sore knee. Winslow shouldn't have any problem getting up for the game, as his dad is an icon in the San Diego area and Winslow relishes the challenge to compete against Antonio Gates, indirectly as it may be.

Kellen Winslow Jr is listed as questionable again this week although he hasn't missed any team through Thursday's workouts. He's battling a sore knee but should be fine to play Sunday against the Jets. It will be interesting to see how Winslow plays and how the Browns choose to deploy him; Winslow was one of the harshest critics of former offensive coordinator Maurice Carthon, who was essentially forced out by the team earlier in the week.

"Kellen’s doing all the individual drills,“ Browns GM Phil Savage said. “He’s doing all the group work, seven-on-sevens, some team work. There’s only been a few times when he’s been limited ... Kellen Winslow Jr appears to be recovering well from the torn ACL and other injuries he sustained when he crashed his motorcycle in June, according to the Cleveland Plain Dealer. "The last three or four weeks, he's been running routes with cleats on and looking good," Browns quarterback Charlie Frye said. "He's basically running every route, cutting, going deep, whatever. He's one of the fastest guys on the team. I'm really excited for him." He's expected to be limited in minicamp next month.

The Cleveland Plain Dealer reports that Kellen Winslow Jr underwent arthroscopic surgery on his reconstructed right knee in January. "It was just a very minor procedure to clear out some scar tissue from his previous surgery," GM Phil Savage said. "The doctors tell me he's doing great and he's at the facility [in Berea] working out every day."
