Philip Rivers participate in limited practice on Monday running the offense in 7-on-7 drills, according to the team's Official Website. “We’re still being careful,” HC Norv Turner said. “We don’t want an accident where someone trips and falls on him. We’re keeping him out of anything where there’s any team-type periods, but he’s getting a lot of reps.”

Philip Rivers continues to have success working with his reconstructed knee and after being involved in min-camps he figures to be just as active in OTA's, according to the Team's Official Website.

The San Diego Chargers will hold their first three-day minicamp this weekend, and quarterback Philip Rivers is among the starters whose participation will be limited, according to the San Diego Union-Tribune. Rivers will throw some and by all accounts is ahead of schedule in his rehabilitation from his Jan. 23 surgery to reconstruct the anterior cruciate ligament in his right leg.

Philip Rivers is progressing nicely in his recovery from ACL surgery in his right knee, this according to the Chargers Official Site. “I started out with a little jog,” Rivers said. “I was going about as hard as I can go today. It feels good. I think I’m ahead, but at least where I need to be right now.”

Six weeks after undergoing surgery, Rivers is rehabilitating the knee like a madman, intent on recovering by the time training camp begins in late July, according to the North County Times. "I would be totally shocked if I'm not ready for training camp," Rivers said. Rivers will soon start doing exercises in a swimming pool and could receive the go-ahead to begin running by the end of this month. He has been doing a variety of exercises to regain strength in the knee and the muscles in other areas of the leg. The Chargers re-signed backup quarterback Billy Volek last week, to solidify the position heading into 2008.
