Steven Jackson stated that he is 100 percent healthy again heading into training camp, according to the Portland Tribune. He will be in the final year of his five-year contract, and said, "A contract year is big for anyone, but especially for the last year of a rookie deal. I’m looking to have a great year and lengthen my career with St. Louis. Hopefully, I’ll retire as a Ram."

Running back Steven Jackson sat out last Thursday's practice after turning an ankle on Wednesday, according to the St. Louis Post Dispatch. "It did swell up a little bit, but it's not serious," head coach Scott Linehan said.
