Ben Hartsock sustained a toe injury in Week 12 against Carolina and the club decided to place him on season-ending injured reserve, according to the Associated Press. The Falcons signed tight end Jason Rader as the adjoining move.

Reports from training camp for the Falcons indicate the tight ends are all but non-existant in terms of targets, noting Ben Hartsock and Martrez Milner are both struggling to show promise as reliable receivers and thus are rarely seeing offensive opportunties in the team's passing offense, according to Pro Football Weekly.
