Matt Schaub indicated that he's content remaining a backup with the Falcons for the time being, according to the Atlanta Journal-Constitution. The Falcons refused to trade Schaub to the Jets in the John Abraham deal, instead opting to send their first-round pick (15th overall) to New York.

The Vikings spent part of Monday discussing a possible trade for Falcons backup quarterback Matt Schaub, according to the Star-Tribune. Discussions could resume as the April draft approaches, but no furthur talks were planned.
