The Times-Picayune reports that Devery Henderson is not close to playing for the Saints. Henderson has been left inactive in seven of the club's first eight games.

Rookie Devery Henderson has drawn the ire of Saints coach Jim Haslett for being out of shape, according to the Times-Picayune. "Devery's got a way to go conditioning wise. He wasn't in the best football shape to begin with. He made a couple nice catches (against the Jets) but everything else wasn't up to par," said Haslett.
