Berrian, who spent his first four NFL seasons with Chicago before joining the Vikings as a free agent, will receive $23 million over the first three years of the contract.

The Vikings have officially come to terms on a six-year deal with Bernard Berrian, this according to Fox Sports. Berrian was considered by many to have been the second best talent on the market behind Randy Moss, and while that might be true the discrepancy between the two is huge. Even as the No. 1 receiver for the Vikings, Berrian is a fringe second receiver in traditional formats.

If Berrian can't work out a deal with the Vikes, then the Raiders, Titans and Niners are expected to take a stab. Meanwhile, things just get darker by the hour in Chi-town.

Not bad work if you can find it, especially considering he has never posted a single 1000-yard campaign. Of course, he has been shackled by the Bears’ run first quarterback deficient scheme. And one more time for those of you who haven’t been paying attention, the Browns, Jets, Raiders, 49ers and Vikings are among the teams reported to be interested in his services.
