Drew Carter signed a one-year deal worth $2 million with the Oakland Raiders, according to NFL.com. Al Davis loves speed guys, and Carter has jets in abundance, although he has never recorded more than 38 receptions, 517 yards or four scores, in any season during his four-year career in Carolina. Carter will likely lineup in the slot, with Javon Walker and Ronald Curry holding down the starting roles.

The NFL Network's Adam Schefter reports that Drew Carter has signed on with the Raiders. Terms of the deal aren't known at this time. This comes just over a week after Oakland brought in Javon Walker. Carter will be the No. 3 option with the Black and Silver, though he could get some starts if Walker's knee acts up.

Drew Carter, continuing his NFL tour, was in Nashville today to meet with the Titans, this according to The Tennessean. Justin McCareins formerly of the Jets was also visiting the Titans. The team certainly needs someone for Vince Young to throw too, but players like Carter and McCareins really are nothing more than complimentary receivers.

Carolina free-agent wide receiver Drew Carter was reportedly visiting the Oakland Raiders on Sunday, this according to the NFL Network. The Raiders lost Jerry Porter to free agency and are looking to replenish their wide out corps.

Drew Carter made up for the absence of Steve Smith Sunday with a huge day, as he hauled in five passes for 132 yards and a TD. Carter had one huge game last year, as well (eight catches, 144 yards and a TD in Week 14), but these games are few and far between for the former Ohio State Buckeye.
