Cleo Lemon is scheduled to visit the Jacksonville Jaguars about their backup quarterback opening, according to FOX Sports. Lemon would serve as the backup to David Garrard, who is entering the final year of his contract. Quinn Gray, who was Jacksonville's second-string quarterback in 2007, is not expected to return as an unrestricted free agent. There are also rumors that Lemon could land in Minnesota, to push incumbent starter Tarvaris Jackson.

Cleo Lemon might have played his last game for the Dolphins, this according to a report in the Palm Beach Post. “[Lemon] emains open to all the possibilities, and Miami has sole, exclusive rights until Feb.29,” Lemon’s agent, J.R. Rickert told the Post. Of course, he also said that he hasn't had any contact of late with the team, and that silence might be telling. Lemon did a solid job in an untenable position last year filling in at QB, but with John Beck clearly the future in Miami, it doesn't appear that there really is a desire on the team's behalf to bring back a fumble prone QB like Lemon who certainly doesn't fit the Bill Parcells established pattern at QB.

A hip injury forced Cleo Lemon out of Sunday's game in the third quarter, according to the AP. Lemon was replaced by rookie John Beck.

Cleo Lemon will start at quarterback for the Dolphins in Week 17, the Miami Herald reports. Lemon is a free agent after the season and has no fantasy value.
