Wes Welker commented on new quarterbacks coach Bill O'Brien, according to the Boston Herald. Welker said, "He works his tail off. He is a film rat. He is constantly in the film room. He understands the game. He understands our offense. He has been a great fit for us in what he wants to bring to the table."

Wes Welker is feeling great and spent part of the last month training, according to the Boston Globe. The 5-9, 185 pound receiver intends to return to Foxborough in mid-to-late March for the off-season program and he said, "I enjoy training and I have been able to train and get ready, as opposed to nursing anything, so it has been nice."

Wes Welker was fined $10,000 on Wednesday for making a snow angel on Sunday to celebrate scoring a touchdown, according to ESPN. Welker was also penalized on the play for unsportsmanlike conduct.
