The Packers placed Walter Williams on injured reserve yesterday, ending his season due to a severe hamstring injury, according to the Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel. He would have been in on third downs Sunday, a role that ReShard Lee probably will handle now.

Third-string Packers running back Walter Williams went down early in practice Thursday and did not return, according to the Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel. He said it was a hamstring issue and wouldn't know anything more until he could talk to doctors.
