Quarterback Jason Campbell said he expects to be 100 percent in a couple of weeks, according to the Washington Times. "I just pulled my hamstring a little bit," said Campbell, who last year missed the final three-plus regular-season games and the wild-card loss at Seattle with a dislocated left kneecap. "I won't be running for a while."

Washington QB Jason Campbell has suffered what the team believes to be a minor hamstring injury, according to the Washington Post.

Quarterback Jason Campbell tweaked his hamstring during Wednesday's practice, according to ESPN. Head coach Jim Zorn said Campbell's legs have been feeling the effects of practicing a more compressed stance, something the coach hopes will give the quarterback more maneuverability. "I have him sinking down a little bit," Zorn said. "It's a change, and so I was kind of excited about it -- not that he tweaked his hamstring but just the fact that different things are happening."

Jason Campbell fits the profile to be the Washington Redskins quarterback; however, this match is not apparent because of his prototype size or live arm, but due to the fact that he is familiar with the West Coast scheme, according to USA Today. "I ran the West Coast my senior year at Auburn," Campbell said after the first minicamp practice on Friday. "A lot of the things we're doing, I've seen it before."

New head coach Jim Zorn admits that he would like to have more of the offense in place at this point, but that learning how to be a head coach and preparing for last week’s draft got in the way of him achieving that goal, according to Pro Football Weekly. As a result, Zorn will offer up a “minicamp book” of offensive plays that the team will incorporate into this weekend’s five practices. Zorn said that base of plays should be a good foundation for rookie players such as receivers Devin Thomas and Malcolm Kelly and tight end Fred Davis, once they rejoin the team during organized training activities later in the offseason.
